 Crown Removal And Prep

I have had several crowns removed and replaced over the years. This was painless. As soon as the numbness left, there was no pain at all and I had to keep remembering that I had a temp on. I still am having trouble with that because it feels like it always did.

From the time I walked in, staff were friendly and reassuring. During my procedure , I was asked how I was doing and was given frequent explanations of what was being done and how close they were to completion. Questions were answered respectfully and fully and clear aftercare instructions.

I became aware of your clinic through crowdsavings. Had it not been for your partnership with them, I would never have thought to try you since I live in Hawaii Kai, but the deal was so good that I decided to give you a try since I'm looking for a new dentist for me and my family anyway, and I'm so glad I did because I was very impressed with your office, staff, hygenist Katrina, and Dr. Devereaux. Everyone was very nice and took the time to answer all my questions without feeling rushed. You also had the thyroid guard when taking xrays. Another big plus was the full parking validation. If not for that, I would probably not consider future visits to your office but it is just another reason to make you our family dentist. Also, since we don't have dental insurance, we very much appreciate your own dental plan to anyone who wishes to join, and your on-going $49.00 teeth cleaning offer which I am taking advantage of every 6 months. Mahalo for making dental care more affordable to us and the masses!

I had the best experience at Ala Moana Dental Care. I HATE going to the dentist but after my 2 visits with Dr. Devereaux and his staff, I have changed my mind. From the cleaning to the procedure it all went without a hitch. There was no pain, they saw to my comfort and it was great. Thanks so much!!

Comfortable, professional, on time, hygienist provide good guidance, dentist did a follow up review and provide advice. They were aware of my budget concerns ( laid off construction worker, COBRA expired ) and made accommodations. I am a walking advertisement for Ala Moana Dental.

Katrina's professionalism is amazing at such a "young" age! This was my second appt. with her and I look forward to my next in 6 mos. Not something you usually hear from patients going to the dentist :)and it was also a pleasure to finally meet Dr. Matto and know that my care is in good hands even when Dr. Devereux is too busy to see me LOL! One word expresses my first visit to the Ala Moana Dental Care, it was exceptional. I called and was interested in a cleaning, an appointment was arrange on short notice and the personnel was very professional and accommodating with plenty of Aloha Spirit. My procedure was performed at a high standard by Katrina and I left there a happy and satisfied patient. I would not hesitate to recommend my friends to this friendly and competent office.

The best dentist I had in my 54 year life! Dr. Matto is undescribable. His assistant is the most caring I have ever met. I like how she touches my shoulder for comfort.Thank you for making me a convert - from a dentist-phobic who didn't go for years out of fear to a person who knows I can handle a dentist visit.

The staff and doctors were excellent...the facility is state-of-the-art... Prices are compeitive...I called around after getting a quote for a cap replacement... They offer a reduced price for teeth cleaning for the uninsured, and that is a real blessing for those of us that are not working and still want to keep our teeth in the best shape possible!! I highly recommend these guys!

all good. You provide a comfortable relaxing enviroment, and all of the staff is very friendly professional and the same time. the prices are good as well. Sharon did an terrific job cleaning my teeth and giving advice on care as well as having an extremely nice attitde and personality.

All the staff was super nice and welcoming. All were thankful that I chose to come there. The office is very clean, spacious, nice happy friendly lighting; it all looks brand new and I was surprised they had been there for 5 or 6 years. The appointment was quick and nothing was scary about it they all made me feel very comfortable. They gave me estimates of services they suggested but did not push anything on me. They answered all questions I had, practical and ridiculous. And they gave me a toothbrush and floss!

 For the first time in my life I actually look forward to visiting the dentist. Dr. Devereux and his staff are truly amazing. Dr. Devereux is extremely compassionate, patient, understanding, and passionate about his work. I am so impressed by the level of technology present in Dr. Devereux's office as well as his attention to detail.
Dental emergencies are a lot like plumbing emergencies, you never know when they will happen AND when they do you need someone who knows what to do and can help NOW! Dr. Devereux and his staff have never let me down when I needed them.
I was so lucky to have found Dr. Devereux that I recommend him to everyone I know. If you can see Diamond Head call Dr. Devereux!

Dr. Matto is most definitely an asset to the Ala Moana Dental Care team. He is personable yet retains a sense of professionalism. He seems like a happy person who has the ability to put people at ease. Dr. Matto always explains everything he is going to do before he proceeds and asks if you have any questions. He reviews your plan of care in terms that are understandable. Dr. Matto has never pressured me to under go a procedure that I did not feel comfortable with or did not understand. He is mindful of the economic implications as well. He is diplomatic when working with several patients at one time. I liked what I was hearing since both of our experiences from a different clinic was both bad service and impersonal. I used to dread going to the dentist and would literally shake in the chair after having had such bad experiences in the past but I don't worry at all anymore because I know I am in the best hands with Dr. Devereux and his staff. All of the care I have received here has been absolutely outstanding, everything I always hoped for when going to the dentist. Although this was my six month bi-annual cleaning, I was notified by email of my appointment a few days prior with a follow-up phone call as a reminder. All personnel are highly professionals from the moment I came into the office as I was greeted at the front desk to being seated in the "chair" for my dental cleaning, which was a painless cleaning where I felt so comfortable in the chair that I had actually dozed off.
